Medical Entrance Exams in India is directed on an All India Basis as well as at the State Level to provide admissions to many Medical Colleges in India. Some national level institutions also conduct their own entrance exams. The Medical Council of India, Delhi is responsible for medical education in India. Most of the Govt. Medical Colleges make available admissions only to Indian Nationals on the basis of All India Medical Entrance exams. However, there are NRI/ Overseas student quotas in few Government Medical Colleges to make available admissions to NRIs and overseas students.
